MT. CLEMENS, Mich. (FOX 2) - A man was punched in the head by another customer at a Mt. Clemens gas station after asking him to back up. The victim told authorities he was bagging his items around 2:30 a.m. July 23 when another man walked up behind him. The victim said the man was too close to him and asked him to move before turning around to finish bagging.

Detroit men arrested for fraudulent vehicle purchase at Feldman Chevrolet

(WWJ) -- Two young men from Detroit are in police custody after attempting to fraudulently buy a Dodge Durango from a metro Detroit car dealership. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to Feldman Chevrolet in Lyon Township on Tuesday for a follow-up to a larceny report from late June.

Detroit Police seek Help to Solve Shooting of 7 People on the Westside [Video]

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police needs assistance in identifying and locating suspects wanted in connection to a non-fatal shooting on the city’s west side. On July 25, 2021 at approximately 10:15 p.m., at W. McNichols and Asbury Park, several individuals consisting of innocent by-standers and children were attending a vigil, when the driver (suspect #2) of a dark color van drove by and an unknown suspect (passenger) from inside fired shots into the crowd, striking and injuring multiple people. After the shooting, the driver of the vehicle fled west on W. McNichols with the shooter still inside. The victims were treated at a local hospital for their injuries.

Woman suffers second-degree burns after setting bedbug-infested car ablaze

A 31-year-old woman from Pontiac was hospitalized with second-degree burns on Tuesday after attempting to exterminate bedbugs in her car. Oakland County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched at around 1:39 p.m. Tuesday to the 1200 block of Perry Street in Pontiac to assist Waterford Regional Fire Department with a vehicle fire.

Judge skeptical of attorney’s request for Hub Bar shooting suspect

The attorney for a man who pleaded no contest to firing two shots at a Macomb Township bar after he was kicked out made a unique legal request to try to soften the sentence. Attorney Jack Jaffe, representing Charles Alam, suggested at Alam’s plea hearing Thursday his client be given credit for time serving in jail for both charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felon.

Suspect Wanted in Mount Clemens Gas Station Assault [Video]

MOUNT CLEMENS, MI – On Friday July 23rd, 2021, at approximately 2:30am, the victim was attempting to make a purchase at the counter of a gas station in Mt. Clemens. Another man approached and was also waiting at the counter near the victim. As the victim was bagging his items, he stated that he requested the suspect to back up as he was standing to close to him. When the victim turned back towards the counter the suspect assaulted him by punching him in the head. The victim, who had minor injuries, was helped up by another patron.
