Man allegedly fatally shot 2 people, burned down house because he wanted woman 'returned' to him

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (TCD) -- A 59-year-old man accused of shooting two people and burning a house down allegedly did so because he wanted a woman "returned" to him. According to the U.S. Marshals Service, on Feb. 23, Pennsylvania State Police responded to a house fire on the 100 block of Neil Road when two bodies were found inside the residence. During their investigation, troopers learned the two suspects, Larry Burns and Cordaryl Burns, had fled the state.

The Detroit Zoo may have called off the search for its missing wallaby joey, but people in Metro Detroit still have their eyes peeled for the 5-month-old animal. A viewer from Washington Township, Margaret S., emailed ClickOnDetroit’s Cassidy Johncox on Friday morning, showing a couple of photos of an animal on the roof of a home, suggesting it could be the missing joey.

Two arrested in UPSET drug bust

Calumet, MI - Two people have been arrested in in Calumet on drug charges. UPSET detectives say a 22-year old female from Calumet and a 38-year male from Lake Linden were taken into custody on a charge of ‘Delivery of Methamphetamine’. The 2 suspects were living in a U-Haul truck and selling meth out of the back of the vehicle. Following a five-day undercover operation, the the two suspects were stopped on Calumet Street where detectives seized a small amount of meth… digital scales… and $800 in cash which included the money used during the undercover operation by UPSET to make drug buys. During the traffic stop, detectives also learned of a connection with a 68-year old Hazel Park, Michigan man who was arrested on May 14th by the Houghton County Sheriff’s Department.

(CBS DETROIT) — Police say one person was arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that killed a woman in Detroit. Detroit police announced the arrest in an update on Thursday. No other details were released but authorities say the woman was a mother and beloved member of the community. “We would like to extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends,” DPD said in a Twitter post. The incident happened at about 5 p.m. on May 16 near Dragoon and McMillan streets. Police say the woman was struck by a pickup truck as she was walking on a median.
