Desert Hills Presbyterian Church will reopen its food pantry doors this Friday (May 20), from 10 to 11 AM. Anyone in need who lives in Yucca Valley, Morongo Valley, Landers, or Joshua Tree is welcome to fill a bag with groceries. A limited number of Stater Brothers cards will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Everyone in need is welcome to call, including those who have received three or more cards in the past. To reserve a card, please call Pastor Wayne at 760-365-6331, on Thursday, May 19, from 9 to 11 AM. Those who will be receiving cards will be called back to arrange to pick them up at the church on Friday, May 20. Those who do not receive a call back should try again next month.
