DFS Daily Breakdown – June 23

Happy Wednesday! Today’s DFS slate is split in half with a nice six-game early slate (on DK) and a seven-game main slate starting at 7:05. This article will just focus on the main slate, but if you want to talk about the early slate, hit me up because I’ll definitely be playing it! As of this writing, the only weather issues are in Miami, but they have a retractable roof, so that shouldn’t be an issue. This slate features a pitching duel between Trevor Bauer and Joe Musgrove, as well as more chalk Wander Franco. Let’s take a look at the Implied Run Totals for each game, and then we’ll dive into the slate!

Travelers Championship 2021 DFS picks: Our expert makes bold predictions this week

This doesn’t feel like your typical week after a major—with the Travelers Championship earning commitments from five of the top 10 players in the world. The players enjoy this tournament and the course, TPC River Highlands, which has hosted this tournament every year since 1984. It’s one of the few courses on the PGA Tour that won’t put a huge emphasis on driving distance—giving an emphasis toward driving accuracy.

NBA DFS Plays & Values: Droppin Dimes for Tuesday, June 22

Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. The Clippers lead 1-0. There are two star players are out tonight: Chris Paul and Kawhi Leonard. Devin Booker gets a nice bump with Paul out. He is the top option for the Suns. He took 29 shots and dropped a triple-double—top option for Captain.

NBA DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks 6/22/21

Devin Booker ($17,700) vs Clippers- The price to have Devin Booker as our “captain” is very high but well worth it in my opinion. He is coming off his first career triple-double where he accrued 77.75 FPTS and was extremely efficient shooting the ball. The Suns will be without Chris Paul again so that will once again open up more playmaking opportunities for the young star which means he could put up huge fantasy numbers again. Booker has double-digit rebounds in 3 of his last 4 games so that is a trend we could see continuing in future games. Booker has been elite the entire playoffs so I would trust him in this spot to rack up big numbers.

WNBA DFS Playbook: June 22

The story of all three games in Tuesday’s WNBA DFS slate is how teams are dealing with having players out or getting players back following long absences. Connecticut is still looking for its first win without Jonquel Jones after dropping two straight games to the Chicago Sky. The Sky remain unbeaten with Candace Parker in the lineup, though Courtney Vandersloot has been their best player since Parker returned. Parker and Stefanie Dolson will look to bounce back against the Liberty, whose interior defense has been dreadful since Natasha Howard went out with a knee injury. The Liberty do have Sabrina Ionescu, though she has struggled off the bench in two games since returning from an ankle injury. Ionescu has shot better than 33...

NBA DFS Picks 6/22 – LAC/PHO Showdown

NBA DFS Picks (Showdown) June 22nd. There is a reason that Paul George is the most expensive player on today’s slate. The Kawhi-less Clippers dropped Game One in this series despite a solid outing. George didn’t have his best shooting night, but he still shot 10-26, including 7-15 from three, on his way to 55.5 fantasy points. George is normally a 40%+ shooter anyways, but he’s been especially good against Phoenix this year. He’s shot 51.1% from the floor and 55.8% from three in four games with the Suns this season. I believe we can get 100+ fantasy points from George in the captain seat if the cards fall just right.

DFS Plays of the Day – June 21

Monday’s main slate is a slight one that features only six games. Additionally, we some interleague action with Cleveland playing in Wrigley Field and the Reds heading into Minnesota. After an initial weather check, we might see some rain in the northeast again. Keep an eye on the ballgame in Baltimore, especially because it has the highest implied run total of the slate. I hope everyone had a fun and safe Father’s Day, and good luck today!

DFS Daily Breakdown – June 20

Happy Father’s Day! I’ll add my disclaimer here – I’m playing golf with my dad today and we have a 7:04 am tee time, so I’m writing this Saturday night. Some of the lines will have moved between the time I write this and when it’s posted, but hopefully, this will still be a valuable tool to get you started on today’s slate. Both FanDuel and DraftKings feature 9 game main slates starting at 1:05. As of this writing, the skies should be clear of any precipitation. I’d like to title this slate the “non-ace slate” as there is no deGrom/Cole/Kershaw to be seen. The closest thing we have to an ace is Hyun-Jin Ryu. That will certainly make things interesting as there will not be a “90% rostered” pitcher making roster construction wide open. We also have a little wrinkle when it comes to Coors. DraftKings is including the first doubleheader game for the Braves/Cardinals matchup in their 9 game slate. FanDuel does not have that doubleheader game and instead has the Rockies/Brewers matchup. I will cover that game when we talk about our stacks, but keep in mind it is for FanDuel only. Let’s take a look at the Implied Run Totals for each game, and then we’ll dive into the slate!

NASCAR DFS Playbook: Tennessee Lottery 250

Yesterday’s approach to the Truck series Playbook was an absolute disaster… For me at least. I lost a cool $100. Which I’m not afraid to admit. I’ve had high’s where I hit big at Martinsville and Sonoma for the Cup series and then there are just nights like last night where I had an awful read and was honestly surprised John Hunter Nemechek didn’t finish in the top five. And I had zero exposure to Ryan Preece. That’s my own damn fault.

WNBA DFS Playbook: June 19

Of the three games in Saturday’s WNBA DFS slate, two are rematches from Thursday. Chicago will look to continue its win streak when Candace Parker plays, while Connecticut is still searching for answers with Jonquel Jones away for EuroBasket. In the other rematch, Dallas will try to avenge its loss to Minnesota. Minnesota's bigs were too much for Dallas in that game, and that will likely be the case again Saturday.

2 Reasons Why DraftKings Can Grow More Easily Than You Think

DraftKings' (NASDAQ:DKNG) share price has been on a growth trajectory. The coronavirus pandemic and the ensuing temporary pauses of major sports leagues did slow down this growth stock, but it eventually recovered and finished 2020 strong. NASCAR DFS Playbook: Rackley Roofing 200 Preview

NASCAR makes its return to Nashville Superspeedway this weekend and we’re kicking it off with Friday night’s Rackley Roofing 200 for the Truck series. We have 150 laps Friday night which means there are 115 dominator points on tap. That’s a fair amount for the Truck series so dominators are certainly in play. Additionally, we get practice and qualifying on the same day as the race. Practice is scheduled for 11:05am ET then qualifying is at 5:05pm and the race starts a little after 8:00pm ET. So I’m going to just offer up a few drivers to monitor going into practice. I’ll really base my lineups and decisions on how qualifying shapes up in comparison to practice so make sure you’re in the Discord and checking it throughout the...

NBA DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks 6/18/21

Ben Simmons ($7,900) vs Hawks- In the grand scheme of things, nobody would say Ben Simmons has played well in this series. He can’t seem to hit a free throw and he hasn’t been as aggressive as we have seen in the past. However, with all the talk about his play and it being a must-win game for the Sixers, I think we should see a different Simmons tonight. He probably still won’t make a free throw but we should expect more than 4 shot attempts and with the way he has been filling up the stat sheet it will be great for fantasy owners. The Hawks defense as a whole leaves a lot to be desired so I will take a chance on Simmons given his high floor.

MLB DFS Plays Main Slate Cheat Sheet: The Daily Diamond - Friday, June 18

Trevor Bauer, LAD (DK $10,600) Facing the team that drafted him, Bauer will look to dominate the Diamondbacks similar to the way that Giants starter Kevin Gausman shut them down yesterday. His last two starts have been sub-par, to say the least, but Bauer should get back on track in Arizona.
