If you’re not already aware, the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum is one of the area’s most unique collections of cars. Situated in the old Armory on Sahoma Lake road, just steps from the Mother Road, the museum has everything from nostalgic classics to military vehicles, to oddballs on wheels.

GLENPOOL, Okla. — A certified comfort dog from Glenpool is back home after spending time in Uvalde, Texas. The four-legged friend is part of the Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry. In conjunction with Hearts of Mercy & Compassion, Crosses for Losses (HMC) Ministry, deployments to Uvalde took place after the shooting to offer something to help the community grieve and begin to heal.

Boxes of Nutritious Food Available to Seniors in Cushing

(CUSHING) – June 22, 2022 – Qualified seniors in Cushing can receive monthly boxes of nutritious food to supplement their diet through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). The free program, a partnership of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, provides boxes of food items through the Cushing Senior Citizen Center.

Cushing man accused of beating girlfriend in head with baseball bat
