Tripoli Woman Peed in Trash Can at Sumner Library

A Tripoli woman has been arrested for urinating near a trash can at the entrance of the Sumner library. Police were called to the library to view video from Saturday afternoon. The video shows a woman exit a van, walk straight to the trash can, look around, then pull her pants down and pee, before getting back into the van. The security cameras were able to get a clear view of the license plate, which allowed police to identify the woman as Robin Schares. Schares has been charged with 5th Degree Criminal Mischief- Urinating in Public.

Waterloo Police investigating after woman shot and killed

WATERLOO, Iowa (KCRG) - Law enforcement officials are seeking any information related to the shooting death of a woman early on Sunday morning. At around 3:24 a.m., the Waterloo Police Department was sent to a report of gunshots in the 600 block of Sumner Street. Officers were able to locate a vehicle nearby in the 200 block of Manson Street which contained a female passenger who had been shot.

Waterloo Woman Dies in Early Sunday Shooting

Waterloo Police are asking for your help with information in connection with the shooting death of a Waterloo woman early Sunday morning. Officers were called to the 300 block of Manson Street around 3:24AM for a report of shots fired. Later, investigators found a woman in the passenger seat of a car with a gunshot wound. The woman was provided first aid by emergency responders until she was able to be transported to UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital. She later died from her injuries. Woman Dies After Being Shot

A woman in Waterloo has died after suffering a gunshot wound in what police believe was a murder. Police were called to the 600 block of Sumner Street for a report of shots fired just before 3:30 Sunday morning. Officers then located a vehicle in the 200 block of Manson Street with the woman in the passenger’s seat. Officer’s administered first aid until Waterloo Fire arrived on scene. The victim was taken to Allen Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Waterloo Police Department is asking the public to share with them any information about the case.

Motorcyclist hurt in crash near Waterloo

EVANSDALE, Iowa (KCRG) - One person was hurt in a single-vehicle accident in Black Hawk County on Sunday, according to law enforcement officials. At around 6:00 p.m., the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office was sent to a report of a crash at the onramp to Interstate 380 at River Forest Road.
