Driver airlifted from crash scene

PORT EDWARDS, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A driver was airlifted from the scene of a crash involving an SUV and a truck. It happened around 8pm Wednesday in Port Edwards. The Wood County Sheriff’s Department says the SUV failed to yield the right away from Highway GG while crossing Highway 173. The SUV crashed into a truck that was heading north on Highway 173.

Chinooks Lose to Rafters, 15-1

Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin – After a tough loss last night, the Chinooks were hoping to get back to their winning ways at Wisconsin Rapids against the Rafters. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen as the Rafters proved why they’re the best team in the Northwoods League. WBCA All-Star Games In Wisconsin Dells-Girls Results Wednesday

The 45th annual Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Basketball Games were held on Wednesday at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. The South All-Stars won four of the five games. Of local interest, in Division 4, the South beat the North, 63-54. Mineral Point’s Mallory Lindsay reached double figures with 14 points and made four 3-pointers. Lindsay is heading to UW-Oshkosh.
