3 dead after hostage standoff at Narcotics Anonymous meeting in Florida ends in murder-suicide

A hostage situation at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting in Florida ended with three people dead on Monday night, according to police. Police responded to a report that a person was shot at Bridge the Gap, a non-profit organization, on Monday at approximately 7:00 p.m. in Edgewater, about 60 miles northeast of Orlando. Bridge the Gap was hosting a Narcotics Anonymous meeting at the time.

APOPKA, FL- Gus Malzahn’s hair is well and truly on fire in recruiting, as he and his staff have now landed Wekiva High School (Apopka, Fla.) defensive end Sincere Edwards who announced on social media that he is staying home and committing to the University of Central Florida. Edwards had been hinting towards a UCF commitment since the arrival of Gus Malzahn to UCF, which was during the Spring of his freshman year of high school. He now becomes the earliest commitment of any UCF football player joining the class of 2024 in August of 2022, and the first day of his junior year in high school.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Police are working to learn what led to a shooting at a Daytona Beach intersection that left one person hurt early Wednesday. According to the Daytona Beach Police Department, shortly before 6 a.m., people riding in two separate cars at Derbyshire Road and 5th Street reportedly began shooting at one another.

Florida man steals car from mother loading up her kids for first day of school

TITUSVILLE, FL– A 43-year-old Florida man has been arrested after he stole a car from a mother who was loading her kids into the vehicle for their first day of school. The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. Monday. Police say Santiago Junior Pena of Daytona Beach, jumped off of his bicycle and got into the woman’s car before driving off. Video of the incident shows the mother screaming before going back into the home to call the police. Authorities quickly located her Kia Soul and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Cheney Highway and Barna Avenue. Pena, however, sped off and crashed the vehicle into another car. He then attempted to run from the scene but was captured by police in a wooded area. Pena is now facing charges of grand theft, fleeing and eluding law enforcement, leaving the scene of a crash with damage, driving with a suspended license with knowledge, reckless driving, and possession of drug paraphernalia. “This crime against a mother and her children will not be tolerated in our city,” said Criminal Investigations Sergeant Timothy Werring. “Our vigilant officers worked skillfully and urgently to take this criminal into custody.”

Naked Florida Man Runs Wild At Gas Station

You know, we’re kind of not surprised about this one! A Naked Florida Man runs wild at a gas station!. It started at the Volusia County Fairgrounds when the naked Florida Man, Brandon Wright, approached a surveyor and demanded his clothes, wallet, and phone. Wright was armed with a machete and decided to throw it at the surveyor because he was too slow in removing his clothes. The surveyor wasn’t hurt and Wright ran off into the woods got into his car and hightailed it out of there.
