Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Harold Dan Froemke, passed away May 23, 2022 at the age of 89 at SMP Health-St. Raphael, Valley City, North Dakota. Harold was born November 5, 1932 in Enderlin, ND to Daniel and Hazel (Ufer) Froemke. He attended Shenford Country School, then Sheldon Public School and graduated from Lisbon High School in 1950.

Five people are hospitalized after a 43-year old Lisbon (ND) man drove over a washed out road and culvert in Ransom County. The North Dakota Patrol reports Wesley Alinder entered a closed portion of the road shortly after 7:00 p.m. As a result the front end of the vehicle struck the opposite side embankment.

Five Seriously Injured in Ransom County Crash

LISBON, N.D. ( – Five were seriously injured in a crash roughly 6 miles Southwest of Lisbon Wednesday evening. The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a 2009 Ford Explorer was traveling southbound on 127th Avenue SE, which is closed due to a culvert washout caused by erosion. The Explorer entered the washout and the front of the vehicle struck the opposite embankment, coming to rest at impact.
