2023 Top Ten Recruit Robert Dillingham Commits to Kentucky

2023 top ten recruit and number one point guard Robert Dillingham has committed to the Kentucky Wildcats. He was originally committed to the North Carolina State Wolfpack, but reopened his recruitment and removed the school from consideration. Several programs were interested in the recruit but he ultimately committed to the Kentucky Wildcats over the Louisville Cardinals, USC Trojans, and Auburn Tigers. Of those four schools, he only took an official visit to Kentucky. Head Coach John Calipari has another five-star recruit heading to his program.

Steve Clifford Returns to Charlotte Hornets as Head Coach

Steve Clifford will return to the Charlotte Hornets as the franchise’s next Head Coach. It will be his second stint with the Hornets as the Head Coach. The veteran Head Coach led both the Charlotte Hornets and the Orlando Magic to their last appearances in the NBA Playoffs. He was fired by both teams. His return to the Hornets came after Golden State Warriors assistant coach Kenny Atkinson changed course and decided not to take the job in Charlotte.

2023 Top Ten Recruit Matas Buzelis Commits to G League Ignite

2023 top ten recruit and top three small forward Matas Buzelis has committed to the G League Ignite. The program has proved itself as a path for top high school talent to skip college and still be drafted in the NBA Draft based on their skill. Buzelis committed to the G League Ignite over the Kentucky Wildcats, North Carolina Tar Heels, Florida State Seminoles, and Wake Forest Demon Deacons. His focus will be on playing professionally and preparing for the 2024 NBA Draft. He is currently projected to be a lottery selection.

U.S. Supreme Court Moves To Overturn Roe V. Wade

This morning, the Supreme Court of the United States of America issued a ruling that could alter the nation for years to come. The country’s highest court has reportedly elected to overturn Roe v. Wade, a 1973 ruling that essentially legalized abortion. As a result, states will decide if access to abortion procedures will remain legal in their jurisdiction. The Associated Press expects that roughly 25 states, including Texas, Alabama and Wisconsin, will move to outlaw abortion due to this ruling.

Tony Siragusa Passes Away at Age 55

It has been a tragic day for the Baltimore Ravens organization. Legendary former defensive tackle Tony Siragusa has sadly passed away at the age of 55 years old. This comes the same day that news broke that current Baltimore Ravens linebacker Jaylon Ferguson passed away at the age of 26 years old. Siragusa spent his 12-year career from 1990 to 2001 with the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens. He was a member of the 2000 Baltimore Ravens that won Super Bowl XXXV.
