The 2021 Paulding County Fair Royalty and court were chosen during a ceremony on Monday evening. Chosen as this year’s fair King was Ben Weible (left) while Paige Jones was named this year’s fair queen. Two seriously injured in crash involving Paulding County Sheriff

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A couple from Antwerp suffered serious head injuries after a motorcycle crash on Saturday involving the Paulding County Sheriff. It happened Saturday afternoon in Defiance County on State Route 49 just south of State Route 249. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Jason Landers, the Paulding County Sheriff, was driving a motorcycle along SR 49 with his wife, Jayme Landers. The couple was following behind a motorcycle driven by Jeremy Hughes with his wife, Emily Hughes.

Defiance Dream Center to host fifth annual Serve Day

The Defiance Dream Center kicked off its first ever Serve Day four years ago, with a goal of helping to meet needs of people in the Defiance community. The fifth annual Serve Day will be held July 10 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and feature volunteers from the Defiance Dream Center, local community organizations, churches and people from all walks of life.
