LAWRENCEVILLE, Illinois — Linda G. McCullough, age 77, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Willow Manor. She was born on Sept. 13, 1943, in Lawrenceville, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Ralston) Volkman. She married Joseph ‘Clint’ McCullough on May 20, 1961, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 2004.

Fair queen candidates

Lynlee Schuetz is the daughter of Joy and Marvin Milligan-Schuetz. She is freshly graduated from Barr-Reeve. Lynlee has received four varsity letters in both softball and basketball in her high school career. She has also received a sportsmanship award. Lynlee was involved in BETA, FCA, Barr-Reeve media, SADD, TIP Club, 4-H, Twin Rivers, in which she got technical honors, and academic teams. Her future plan is to attend IUPUI I the fall, majoring in dental hygiene. Her hobbies include working her two jobs as being a lifeguard at the city pool in Washington and being a phone girl at Bobes. She also enjoys being surrounded by friends and loved ones, music and crafts. Lynlee has helped with the Special Olympics at her school, Feed My Sheep, a Walk For Water, mission trips through her church and sending shoe boxes and Christmas gifts to those in need. Her greatest accomplishment is receiving her CNA license her junior year of high school. She considers her Pa to be her greatest role model because of the way he loves Jesus, his community, his family and others. He has always supported her in all she does and goes to all of her events. She hopes to be as loving and caring as he is as she is becoming a young adult. She chose to run because she feels this will open her up to many more opportunities. These being to meet new people, help in more ways, and learn more about her county.
