Woman Busted Attempting To Sneak Pills Into St. Mary's County Detention Center: Sheriff

A wanted woman is facing new charges after allegedly attempting to bring prison contraband into a Maryland jail, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office announced. Lexington Park resident Nicole Anne Kelly, 36, was arrested by sheriff's deputies earlier this month on an outstanding warrant, after which she was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said on Wednesday, June 29.

Two Stolen Guns Recovered During Traffic Stop In Great Mills

GREAT MILLS, Md. – On 6/29/2022, Sgt S. Barlow conducted a traffic stop in the McDonald’s Parking lot, located at 21600 Great Mills Road, Great Mills, MD. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, suspected Marijuana was observed in plain view. One of the occupants of the vehicle, identified as Joequan Daequeze Bush, 20 of Lexington Park, MD, fled the scene but was apprehended a short distance later. He was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun.

Man Dead in Serious Car Crash in Snow Hill

SNOW HILL, Md.-Maryland State Police are investigating the cause of a car crash Tuesday that left one man dead and a woman in serious condition in Snow Hill. Troopers arrived to the area of MD 12 south of the Wicomico/Worcester County line in Snow Hill around 5:15pm for a reported two vehicle crash. Investigations revealed the victim, Joshua Xavier Capra,23, of Salisbury was traveling northbound on RT 12 when he crossed the center line into the southbound lane striking another car driven by Emani Press,21, of Temperanceville.

Drug investigation concludes with arrest of Salisbury man

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man was arrested earlier this month following a drug investigation. As a result of an ongoing drug investigation, deputies obtained a search and seizure warrant for the home of 41-year-old Terrence Hugee, located in the 800 block of College Lane. Surveillance was established on the residence on June 9th, during which Hugee was seen leaving. A traffic stop was initiated, and the warrant was executed on the apartment.

SNOW HILL, Md. – Maryland State Police say a crash claimed the life of a Salisbury man and left another in critical condition Tuesday evening. At around 5:15 p.m., troopers responded to the area of southbound Route 12, south of the Wicomico/Worcester County line, for a report of a serious crash. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2014 Ford Fusion was traveling northbound on Route 12 when the driver crossed the center line into the southbound lane, hitting a 2007 Honda.
