A high school principal from Pennsylvania was arrested on accusations he had a years-long sexual relationship with a student who viewed him as "an older brother," police said. Roger Freed, principal of the Williamsport Area High School, began a relationship with the then-middle school student in 2015, which turned sexual two years later, the NY Post reports.

Man charged for allegedly breaking vehicle windshield with rock

Selinsgrove, Pa. — A Selinsgrove man who allegedly threw a rock at a vehicle's windshield in a fit of anger is now facing charges. Selinsgrove Police say on June 6, Ethan Ensling, 18, threw a rock at the windshield of a vehicle parked at the 100 block of Independence Street. When police arrived, they observed a hole in the windshield, according to the affidavit. Ensling admitted to police he threw the rock at the vehicle out of anger. He reportedly told police that he was angry at the time and only later realized the severity of the incident. Victim scammed out of $4,500 on Facebook Marketplace for a UTV

Cogan Station, Pa — "It was too good to be real," the victim told police, but despite those misgivings, they still sent a scammer $4,500 through Bitcoin for a utility terrain vehicle they never received. State police at Montoursville say the victim had seen an advertisement on Facebook Marketplace for a 2018 John Deere Gator UTV with a price of $4,500. On May 29, the victim, of Cogan Station, sent the funds via Bitcoin to the seller but never received the UTV. The victim reported the scam to police two weeks later. State police at Montoursville is urging the community to be aware of online scams, as they are at an all-time high.
