Gilford PD investigating cause of double motorcycle crash

GILFORD — The Gilford Police Department is investigating the cause of a Sunday morning crash involving two motorcycles. “We’re investigating whether or not the two bikes came into contact with each other,” said Sgt. Adam VanSteensburg of the Gilford Police Department. “It is a criminal investigation. We’re looking into the reason, possible impairment.”

Sununu rejects Democratic call for special session to codify abortion rights

CONCORD, N.H. — Gov. Chris Sununu said Monday he will not call a special legislative session to protect abortion rights in New Hampshire law.
