On Friday, September 24, 2021, Dallas County Health and Human Services reported 1,147 new positive 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Cases. 941 of these cases were confirmed and 206 were probable. There were also 22 deaths including a DeSoto man and woman, both in their 70’s with underlying high risk health conditions, who had been critically ill and died in area hospitals.
