Titonka Man Facing Multiple Felony Charges

–A Titonka man is facing multiple felony counts after law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at a residence in Titonka Thursday evening. According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies executed the warrants around 6:45 PM Thursday at 348 Ripley Street in Titonka, and as a result, arrested 55-year-old Eric Dwyane Johnson.

Rolfe Woman Receives Several Animal Neglect Charges for Leaving Cats in Unsanitary Conditions

A Rolfe woman, who left several cats and kittens in unsanitary conditions, has been charged with 34 counts of Animal Neglect. According to the Pocahontas County Sheriff's Office, late in the afternoon on June 22nd, law enforcement was called to the residence at 204 Walnut Street in Rolfe. Approximately 30 cats and kittens were discovered without food and water in the vacated house. Law enforcement was advised that 51-year-old Jennifer Sproston had been bringing the cats to the residence and keeping them there.

(Estherville)--Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley discussed transparency in prescription drug pricing Thursday afternoon during a visit to Estherville. Grassley is cosponsoring a bill that would direct the Federal Trade Commission to hold pharmacy benefit managers or PBMs accountable for unfair and deceptive practices. Estherville Pharmacy owner Andy Spurgin outlined the problems faced by small independent pharmacies when it comes to PBMs.

Estherville, IA (KICD) — Governor Kim Reynolds visited rim & wheel factory Moovero in Estherville on Wednesday as part of a tour of Iowa factories. Reynolds told KICD one thing she noticed in the locations she has visited so far is frustration due to staffing issues, which is why she designated the Manufacturing 4.0 Workforce Innovations Grant to increase automation. She says the goal of the grant isn’t replacing workers, but to supplement them by helping them enhance their skillset.
