This is the cheapest gas in Bellingham right now

(BELLINGHAM, WA) Depending on where you fill up in Bellingham, you could be saving up to $0.72 per gallon on gas. On Saturday the cheapest gallon of unleaded regular in the area was at Meridian Super Mart at 4130 Meridian St. Regular there was listed at $3.17 per gallon Wednesday, compared to $3.89 at Chevron at 900 Iowa St, which GasBuddy clocked as the most expensive station in the area.

City road and projects report for June 21-25

As we turn the corner into summer, the City’s street assessment continues, utilizing a laser road surface tester mounted on a large white van that is driving every street in Bellingham. That assessment will provide data about streets requiring maintenance and repair and will determine the order for overlay (resurfacing) work. Meanwhile, maintenance work for earlier-identified street needs is underway, as are several construction projects around Bellingham could impact travel as well. Not all projects are the City’s, but still affect travel through town, such as construction along Samish Way and along I-5 at Fairhaven Parkway and at the I-5 exits at Bakerview.
