2 arrested after drive-by shooting in Cumberland County

Two men were arrested on Saturday for allegedly participating in a drive-by shooting. A resident of 326 Raymond Hill Road in Raymond called the Windham Police Department and told police that they had gotten into an argument with two men, and that they had heard multiple gunshots come from a vehicle that had driven by the residence, according to Naldo Gagnon, Chief Deputy of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

Cumberland County Sheriff's Office holds remembrance ceremony

Portland (WGME) -- The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office held a remembrance ceremony to honor those lives lost on September 11th 2001. Man arrested after series of burglaries in Casco

A man who allegedly committed several burglaries in the Casco area was arrested Sunday by deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. Austin Swanson-Monge, 23, for whom no address was given, was taken into custody after deputies found him sleeping inside an unoccupied camp on Parker Pond Pines Road in Casco, according to Capt. Kerry Joyce of the sheriff’s office.
