DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) - This Evening & Tonight: We see clearing skies through the rest of this evening into tonight. Before sunset, we all probably see a little bit of sunshine here and there. For the most part, quiet skies stick around through the overnight hours as temperatures fall back into the 50s. Some places along the North Shore and International Border may fall back into the 40s. Winds are out of the west between 10-15 MPH.

From the National Weather Service • Duluth • June 25, 2022. We will continue to see periodic chances of showers and thunderstorms through the middle of next week, with a break on Monday. Some showers and thunderstorms will continue this morning, which are the remnants of the strong to severe storms that rolled through western portions of the Northland last night and this morning. This activity should diminish by the middle of the afternoon, leading to quieter conditions this evening and overnight. Strong to severe storms are not anticipated. Additional chances of showers are possible Sunday across the northern areas of the region. Monday is looking pleasant, with plenty of sunshine. Famed 20th Century American architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed hundreds of buildings. But there's only one gas station of his in operation. Best Service station in Cloquet, Minn., first opened in 1958 as Lindholm Service Station, owned by local oil businessman R.W. Lindholm. It was an opportunity for Wright to flex an idea from his Broadacre City. Wright was anti-city, and he had apprentices work on a model that imagined a more agrarian land use plan. Auto racing: Schelitzche reigns supreme at Hornet Nationals in Superior

SUPERIOR — Justin Schelitzche surged to victory in the Hornets feature at the Badger State Hornet Nationals Friday, June 24, at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior. Schelitzche, of Watertown, Minnesota, started in the sixth spot of the 15-lap finale but as the lead pack began to separate he made his move. He eventually grabbed the lead and cruised to victory, outpacing the likes of Carter Matthews (Clearbrook, Minn.) and A.J. House (Cloquet). An impressive 29 cars were on hand for the nationals.
