MILWAUKEE (TCD) -- A 34-year-old mother of three children who was 34 weeks pregnant was found dead in a vacant lot this week. According to WITI-TV, on Monday, May 23, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Milwaukee Police Department officers responded to the area of Palmer and Chambers streets to a report of a woman found dead. The woman was later identified as Amanda Kiepert.

Brewers Brandon Woodruff Pulled With Ankle Discomfort

Brandon Woodruff had to leave the game early for the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Woodruff seems to have suffered an ankle injury while warming up prior to the 5th inning. Pedestrian struck in fatal hit and run, police searching for vehicle

The Milwaukee Police department is investigating a fatal hit and run accident where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 4600 block of W. Lisbon Friday night. Police said a 46-year-old man was struck and killed by a stolen vehicle near 46th and Lisbon. The crash happened around 10:35 and involved a red Pontiac G5 two-door vehicle with a license plate of 271-TEW, according to Milwaukee Police.

Two dead in separate shootings overnight

Two are dead and one is injured in two separate shootings that occurred in Milwaukee Friday night. The first shooting took place at around 2:40 a.m. in the 4200 block of W. Bonny Pl. A 36-year-old man was shot and killed at the scene, according to Milwaukee Police. A 33 year-old woman and a 22 year old man were taken into custody and two guns were recovered. Police say the incident appeared to be domestic violence related. Charges are currently pending with the Milwaukee County District Attorneys Office.
