George Castro, 74, of Batesville died May 10, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Lansing, Michigan, on May 11, 1947, to Dolores Sepulveda and Asencion Castro. On May 9, at 4:59 a.m., Carrizo Springs agents apprehended a group of nine subjects. They were transported to the Carrizo Springs Border Patrol Station for processing. During processing, record checks revealed that one subject, a Mexican national, Oscar Garcia-Solorzano, 28, was previously convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child in Austin in 2016 and sentenced to two years confinement, He was subsequently deported in 2018.
