Two Officer Involved Shootings Wednesday Evening in North Texas

(WBAP/KLIF) – Irving / Fort Worth – There have been 2 officer involved shootings in North Texas. One involved a suspect who was shot and killed at the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Irving located near the Texas 121 TEXpress toll road and North MacArthur boulevard. Irving Police say the man who died had been a patient in the emergency room at the hospital and had a handgun.

AUSTIN (CBSDFW) — A jackpot-winning ticket worth an estimated $7.25 million for the Lotto Texas drawing held on June 25 was bought at a Circle K in Irving. The new multi-millionaire has yet to claim their winnings from the ticket bought at the store located at 3950 Valley View Lane.

Black Rifle Coffee Co. opened this shop at 901 N. Central Expressway in Plano on Dec. 31, 2021. (Erick Pirayesh/Community Impact Newspaper) Black Rifle Coffee Co. is planning to open a new shop at 5659 Colleyville Blvd. in Colleyville, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The shop will have a dining space, a merchandise display area and a coffee bar, the filing stated. Construction is expected to start in August and finish by December, according to the filing. The veteran-founded company offers premium roasts and supports veterans, active-duty military and first responders, according to a news release. A company representative did not have an estimated opening date.

North Texas resident wins $7.25M Lotto Texas jackpot

AUSTIN, Texas — One lucky Texan woke up over $4 million dollars richer thanks to correctly matching all six Lotto Texas jackpot numbers Saturday night. The winning ticket was purchased at a Circle K located at 3950 Valley View Lane, in Irving. The ticket matched all six of the numbers drawn (7-10-23-34-46-47). The lucky winner selected the cash value option when they bought their ticket, so they will receive $4,632,166.56 before taxes. They haven't claimed their winnings yet, but they have 180 days from the draw date to claim the prize.
