GALION – One of the deadliest plants in North America is flowering – and flourishing – in Crawford County. Poison hemlock, which started showing up in the Buckeye State a few years ago, is now blooming in this part of Ohio, according to Jason Hartschuh, Ohio State University Extension Agent for Crawford County.

Leuthold, a long-time lifter, competed in three categories that included the 240 lb. Weight class ages 50-54 raw bench press, also in the 240 lb. all ages (open) raw bench press and the 240 lb. weight class ages 50-54 strict curl.

Warrant issued for Galion man who failed to appear…

BUCYRUS—Brian Lookabaugh, 54, of Galion, failed to appear in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday for a final hearing on a community control violation. Lookabaugh was sentenced to 24 months in prison in May of 2020 after he pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison, one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest.
