Salisbury man convicted of assault after strangling wife during argument

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man has been convicted of assault and other charges stemming from a December 2021 incident. Darius Deal was convicted of first and second degree assault, as well as reckless endangerment, following a jury trial in Wicomico County. The judge postponed sentencing to allow for a pre-sentence investigation to be completed.

Two Stolen Guns Recovered During Traffic Stop In Great Mills

GREAT MILLS, Md. – On 6/29/2022, Sgt S. Barlow conducted a traffic stop in the McDonald’s Parking lot, located at 21600 Great Mills Road, Great Mills, MD. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, suspected Marijuana was observed in plain view. One of the occupants of the vehicle, identified as Joequan Daequeze Bush, 20 of Lexington Park, MD, fled the scene but was apprehended a short distance later. He was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun.

Drug investigation concludes with arrest of Salisbury man

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man was arrested earlier this month following a drug investigation. As a result of an ongoing drug investigation, deputies obtained a search and seizure warrant for the home of 41-year-old Terrence Hugee, located in the 800 block of College Lane. Surveillance was established on the residence on June 9th, during which Hugee was seen leaving. A traffic stop was initiated, and the warrant was executed on the apartment.
