Meadville man shot in leg, July 1

EDIT: THE GENDER OF THE SUSPECT HAS BEEN CORRECTED. (WJET/WFXP/ — The Pennsylvania Police arrested a suspect accused of aggravated assault. According to a Pennsylvania State Police report, a 27-year-old Meadville woman shot a 27-year-old Meadville man in the upper leg with a 9mm firearm. The gunshot caused serious bodily injury, the report said.

Millcreek Fourth of July Parade Returns

Crowds turned out for the 55th annual Millcreek Fourth of July parade Monday. The parade on W. 12th St. started at Marshall St. and proceeded to the American Legion. The parade was action-packed with marching bands, floats, fire trucks, roller derby, BMX, clowns and plenty of candy for the kids.

Pitt Offers Explosive Guard, Erie Native Dellquan Warren

On Sunday night, Pitt extended an offer to an enticing class-of-2024 prospect by the name of Dellquan Warren. Warren is a 6-foot-1 guard who plays for Keystone Academy as well as Wildcat Select, the same circuit program as current Pitt commit Marlon Barnes.
