Missing 3-year-old's mother took child from father's custody, police say

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Gwinnett County police are searching for a three-year-old girl they said when missing on Saturday afternoon near a home in Lilburn. Investigators said Max Clendenin was last seen by her father while playing in the yard in front of the home at around 3:20 p.m. Saturday. Police said the child's father stepped into the home momentarily and discovered Max was gone when he came out.

A new report released by the Georgia Hospital Association estimates Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s impact on the local community and state is more than $3.5 billion. The GHA report found that, in 2020, NGMC generated $3,554,257,187 in revenue for the local and state economy; provided more than $70 million in total estimated charity care; and sustained more than 22,500 full-time jobs throughout the region and state – in addition to more than 9,000 people directly employed by Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS).

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb Police are asking the public for help identifying three people they believe are involved in a deadly shooting at a Lithonia gas station. Authorities said three men were involved in a dispute Thursday where multiple people fired weapons in the parking lot of the Chevron Gas Station on Covington Highway, which resulted in the death of 18-year-old Charles Payne.
