JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Shortly after 6pm Tuesday evening the Jamestown Police were sent to investigate a report of a 17 year-old who had been sexually assaulted. Officers were able to interview the victim in this case. The victim described the male suspect, who had followed the juvenile in a vehicle, near Klaus Park, in southwest Jamestown. The suspect enticed the juvenile to get into his car, to give the juvenile a ride. As the suspect drove the juvenile in and around the Jamestown area, the suspect sexually assaulted the victim. The victim did not know the suspect.

The victim says they were walking around Klaus Park when someone pulled over and offered them a ride. Officials say the victim then got in the vehicle.
