JANESVILLE
A Rock County sheriff's sergeant arrested a Milton man on a suspected sixth intoxicated-driving offense Friday after the man was clocked going 103 mph on Highway 26, according to a sheriff's office news release.
At around 7 p.m. Friday, the sergeant observed a black Camaro traveling southbound on Highway 26 near Harmony Town Hall Road overpass at 103 mph in a 55-mph zone, according to the news release.
The driver, a 43-year-old man from Milton, showed signs of impairment, had five prior OWI convictions, and was arrested and taken to the Rock County Jail, according to the release.
He is scheduled to make a court appearance at 3 p.m. Monday, according to the release.
