Empty Wooster lot to become Italian restaurant with loft apartments

WOOSTER What is now an empty lot adjacent to Muddy's downtown will become a two-in-one building featuring the city's newest Italian restaurant and eight loft apartments. The two-story development clocks in at 16,000 square feet and will sit on East Liberty Street, said Matthew Long, a local attorney and primary planner on the project.

NEWCOMERSTOWN - Gary and Terrie Baker of Baker's IGA has announced the sale of their stores in Scio, Sugarcreek and Newcomerstown to Riesbeck's Food Markets. A staggered transition period will be June to October. The Mount Vernon location will remain under the Baker's IGA name. The Coshocton store closed in October 2018 after 31 years in business.
