According to a Boonville Police report, Kathleen Fallon Cooper is alleged to have inappropriately touched a 6-year-old girl at a residence in Boonville between August 19 and September 29, 2016. BOONVILLE WOMAN FACING INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE DUE IN COURT

A driver allegedly involved in a fatal crash in Cooper County on June 14, 2020, who is facing a felony charge is due in court Monday, September 13. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a motorcycle, driven by 59-year-old James Brandl, of Boonville, was traveling northwest on Missouri Highway 87 when it was struck by a northwest bound SUV, driven by Karen Lynn Gately. Brandl died from his injuries. Gately was not injured.

Three persons were arrested and charged with felonies after an incident in Cooper County on September 1. According to the Cooper County Sheriff’s Department, at around 6:30 a.m., a Land Rover with a temporary tag was observed sitting stationary in the area of Boonslick Drive and Logan’s Lake Road in Boonville. About the same time, a silver Ford F250 was seen backing away from a residence of a local citizen in the same area.
