National hurricane officials are calling for an above-average season in the Atlantic. For the Myrtle Beach area, that means it’s time to prepare. It’s the seventh consecutive year the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has predicted an above-normal hurricane season in the Atlantic, which could bring more than one dozen named storms.
