Coatesville man on run after shooting his brother in his home

COATESVILLE — A Coatesville man who allegedly shot his brother Monday morning is on the run, and police say he is armed and dangerous. An arrest warrant has been issued for Nelson Ortiz, 18. When captured, police say he will be charged with attempted homicide and related offenses, as well as endangering the welfare of children.

Convicted sex offender indicted on new charges involving child

A Cumberland County grand jury has indicted a registered sex offender accused of new crimes involving a child. Scott J. Bicking, 54, of Paulsboro, allegedly touched the victim’s genitals over and under his clothing on several occasions late last year and early this year, according to a criminal complaint filed by Vineland police. The victim told investigators that the assaults began last year in Woodbury and continued in Vineland.

Police Search for Residential Burglary Suspects

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Police are trying to identify the suspects wanted for residential burglary in the city. On May 18, 2021 at 5:30 pm, two unknown males gained entry to a private residence located on the 2xx North 16th Street, Philadelphia. Once inside the suspects took a safe containing jewelry, cash and a firearm. The suspects put the safe into a vehicle then left the area.

Police Seek Help Identifying Man Who Stole Cashbox from Honey Stand

DOUGLASSVILLE, PA — Police are hoping the public can help them track down the suspect in a theft from a self-service honey stand on Monday. On June 14th, 2021 the Douglass Township Police received a call regarding a theft at 11 Township Line Rd, Douglassville. The theft occurred around 4:00 am that day when an unidentifiable male walked into a self-service honey stand and stole the cashbox containing $80 in cash. The male then left the location. The male appeared to be wearing a baseball-style cap and a bandana.
