Magnolia Dental Group opened May 9 at 4005 Cedar Glades Drive, Unit C, Murfreesboro, according to Sarah Fortner, an employee. Magnolia Dental Group is a locally owned and -operated dental practice that offers preventive and emergency dentistry care. Preventative services include oral exams, teeth cleanings and oral cancer screenings, and emergency services include dental extractions, root canals, and fractured or broken tooth repair.

Whataburger coming to Murfreesboro

Whataburger is set to open its first Murfreesboro location at 1835 Old Fort Parkway, Murfreesboro, according to the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce’s social media. The popular, Texas-based fast food restaurant specializes in burgers, sandwiches and milkshakes. Patrons will be able to dine-in, make carryout orders or use the drive-thru at the new location.

Bill Lee and the Tennessee Department of Health included a list of resources for families affected by the nationwide formula shortage in a news release shared May 19. “As parents across the country face empty shelves at the grocery store, we’re reminded just how important a stable supply chain is for Tennessee families,” Lee said in the news release. “We thank grocers and retailers for doing their part as we pull every lever to give Tennesseans in crisis the resources they need—but ultimately, it’s time for the federal government to do all they can to deregulate, ease restrictions and get formula back on the shelves.”

Studio Bank, a bank founded in Nashville in 2018, plans to open a new corporate office and retail branch in Cool Springs in June or July, according to an announcement. The two-story addition will add 22 new classrooms to the campus, using plans similar to the addition previously completed at Independence High School at 1776 Declaration Way, Thompson’s Station, according to the district. As of early spring, the project was on track to be complete by July.
