Marvel Releasing New Alien Series This Summer

The Walt Disney Company's acquisition of 20th Century Fox meant bringing a lot of iconic franchises into the realm of Disney, which also means that Marvel Comics is able to dive deep into all corners of a variety of franchises, including the iconic Alien series. Coming this summer is an all-new Alien comic series from writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson and artist Julius Ohta, which will depict the deadly xenomorph serving as a treacherous threat, but also as potentially being the key to humanity's salvation. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Reveals New Image of Piccolo

The only instance of Piccolo being the strongest Z-Fighter in Dragon Ball Z was when he fused with Kami in order to fight against both Cell and the androids created by Dr. Gero of the Red Ribbon Army, with the Namekian trailing behind Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan since. Now, with Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero set to arrive in theaters around the world later this summer, a new image of Piccolo has landed as a part of the dubbing process, featuring the Namekian while not in his new form that gets rid of the lines on his arms and changes his green skin.

Dragon Ball Super is continuing the tale of the Granolah The Survivor Arc by having Goku and Vegeta square off against the most powerful member of the Heeters organization, Gas, and while this alien criminal is the current strongest being in the universe, the cliffhanger of this latest chapter is hinting at a power boost for the Prince of the Saiyans that might turn the tide. Vegeta has learned a lot by training with the god of destruction Beerus, most notable his Ultra Ego transformation that doesn't just give him more energy, but a drastically different appearance.

Dragon Ball Super Cosplay Lights Up Super Saiyan Caulifla

Dragon Ball Super has introduced plenty of new characters over the course of the sequel series, not just within the main universe, but via the number of universes that clashed with Goku, Vegeta, and the other Z-Fighters. Universe Six not only was a worthy foe to Universe Seven, it also introduced new Saiyans to the Shonen franchise, with one cosplayer taking the opportunity to bring to life Caulifla, one of the most powerful Saiyan in this alternate reality that gained the transformations of Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 in record time.

'Rick and Morty' Spinoff Revealed

DC's Gotham Knights Poster Revealed by The CW

The next generation of The CW's DC Comics-inspired television shows has arrived. On Thursday, during the network's Upfronts presentation, fans were treated to the first poster for Gotham Knights, the new live-action series poised to debut sometime in 2023. Gotham Knights is one of three new series the network is planning for the 2022-2023 season, including the Walker prequel Walker: Independence and the Supernatural prequel The Winchesters also ordered to series. Gotham Knights is the third DC-inspired series to be greenlit for the 2022-2023 season, in addition to returning seasons of The Flash and Superman & Lois. Several of the network's other DC-inspired series — Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow, and Naomi — were recently cancelled.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' latest chapter has put another big Boruto character's life on the line! There's a deadly chess game being played right now, between the ninja of Naruto's Hidden Leaf Village and the last remaining faction of the Kara organization. That chess game has seen Shikamaru and former Kara scientist Amado lure Isshiki Otsutsuki's disciple, the killer cyborg Code, into Hidden Leaf for capture. Unfortunately, Code had his own move to play, by bringing his powerful ally Ada along with him. Nobody was ready for that play, and in Boruto Chapter 70, the game ends with some drastic turns of fate!
