COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A new report found majority of Colorado restaurants are struggling to hire employees, including a new, large Colorado Springs eatery. Tejon Eatery just opened its doors two weeks but is currently limited on what days and times it can open due to hiring struggles. It has nine restaurants, two bars and a motorcycle museum all under one roof, but only has about five concepts open currently.

Popular chain transforming the fast-casual sandwich landscape will open in the Mile-High City. August 03, 2021 // // DENVER - Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, the iconic San Francisco-based sandwich chain with a cult-like following, has signed a lease for its first location in the Denver area, marking the brand’s entry into the state of Colorado. Father-daughter franchise duo Blair and Camille Woodfield of Woodfield Squared, LLC signed a multi-unit franchise deal in 2020 to bring five units to the greater Denver area. The franchisees have identified the Central Park neighborhood of Denver as the ideal site for the first Ike’s Love & Sandwiches restaurant and are preparing to open its doors by the end of summer 2021.

Whataburger To Break Ground On Its First CO Location This Week

According to reports from KKTV and FOX21, Whataburger, along with the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce and Colorado Economic Development Commission (EDC) plan to break ground on the first-ever Whataburger in Colorado Springs this Wednesday (Aug. 4).

By year's end, local fervent fans of Whataburger should have their cravings satisfied with the chain's first restaurant in Colorado Springs — and it won't be the last. Texas-based Whataburger, founded 71 years ago and popular for its fresh, made-to-order burgers, broke ground Wednesday for a restaurant expected to open by the end of 2021 in the InterQuest Marketplace shopping center, northeast of Interstate 25 and InterQuest Parkway on the city's far north side.

Restaurant roster continues to grow in busy northern Colorado Springs

Noodles & Co. is the latest familiar restaurant brand to expand to the booming InterQuest area on Colorado Springs' far north side. The Broomfield-based fast-casual chain aims to open its sixth Springs location in the fourth quarter of this year at the InterQuest Marketplace retail complex, northeast of Interstate 25 and InterQuest Parkway, Noodles spokesman Brian Anderson said via email. The restaurant, which will be part of a multi-tenant retail building, will be Noodles' 59th in Colorado.
