Steve Hostetler has been a photographer for 45 years. He settled in the Denver area in 2003 and started his own photography business in 2021. Steve started photographing wild horses in Colorado in 2018 in the Sand Wash Basin, which is located in the northwest corner of Colorado between Dinosaur National Monument and Craig and has been hooked ever since.

Rare Scrawny Black Fox Seen Frolicking in Elizabeth Colorado

There have been several noteworthy wild animal sightings in Colorado lately. A moose in a Vail parking garage, a rescued baby owl, a hawk versus eagle fight, and tons more. Recently a woman in Elizabeth, Colorado caught footage of what appears to be a rare black fox. The video shows a fast black blob with a long tail.

Young bull moose roams through Colorado parking garage

VAIL, Colo. — No bull. There was a moose on the loose in a Colorado parking garage. A young bull moose was discovered in the garage at Lionshead Village in Vail on Tuesday morning, KDVR reported. Perhaps the moose, estimated to be 2 or 3 years old by Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials, made a wrong turn while looking for the ski resort’s three-star hotel, Antlers at Vail.

Bull moose removed from Colorado parking garage

July 28 (UPI) -- Wildlife officials in Colorado said a large bull moose was tranquilized and relocated after wandering into the ground floor of a parking garage. Colorado Parks and Wildlife said officers responded to the parking garage in the Lionshead Village area of Vail on Tuesday morning when the 2-to-3-year-old moose was spotted inside the garage.
