Lawrenceburg Police Investigate Break-In of Convenience Store

LAWRENCEBURG POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING THE BREAK IN OF A CONVIENCE STORE ON BUFFALO ROAD THAT OCCURRED SOMETIME OVERNIGHT ON THE 4TH OF JULY. ACCORDING TO REPORTS, OFFICERS WERE DISPATCHED TO A ONE STOP ON TUESDAY TO SPEAK TO A COMPLAINANT WHO ADVISED THAT A WINDOW HAD BEEN BROKEN OUT ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE BUILDING. $1000 DOLLARS WAS FOUND MISSING FROM THE CASH REGISTER AND 265 VAPES WERE TAKEN FROM UNDER THE COUNTER. TOTAL LOSS $5164 DOLLARS. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS ENCOURAGED TO CONTACT THE LAWRENCEBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT.

The 2022 Wayne County Bank/Helping Hands Golf Scramble held at the Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course on June 18th was a huge success! Twenty-two teams of four played 18 holes of golf with two flights of winners. We want to thank all of our Corporate, Green, and Tee sponsors as well as those who donated door prizes, food and water for the 88 golfers and Helping Hands directors and volunteers.

Julia Frances Rhoades Sanders Barnett , age 84 of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday July 4, 2022 at NHC Healthcare Lawrenceburg after an extended illness. She was a native of Decatur, AL, a Seamstress,and of the Baptist faith. Funeral Services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Jaymond Perry & John Copeland will be officiating. Burial will follow in Grassy Cemetery.
