Lost Boy in Louisburg Found

On Sunday, July 3rd, the Louisburg Police Department with the assistance of the Louisburg Fire Department, Miami County Sheriff’s Office and Miami County EMS were called upon to locate the family members of a young boy who had wandered away from his uncle’s home. The young boy, a four-year-old from Belton, Missouri was in Louisburg spending time with his uncle, when he managed to walk away from the home.

MDC Offers Free Fishing And Outdoors Skills Classes In July And August At Warsaw

Classes at the Lost Valley Fish Hatchery will teach safety and techniques for skills such as archery. The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will offer a free series of fishing and shooting sports skills classes during July and August at the Lost Valley Fish Hatchery in Warsaw. MDC experts and volunteers will teach basic skills and then help participants as they go fishing at the hatchery education pond or try out target shooting with archery equipment or pellet guns.

Marvin Edwin Gibson, age 84, of Warsaw and formerly of Smithton, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 8. Private burial will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born on February 25, 1942 in Warsaw, the daughter of John August Kreisel and Mary Edna (Davis) Kreisel. She grew up and attended school in Lincoln and on March 15, 1959 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Casey.
