Texas A&M's Struggles Show SEC Play Could Be Challenging

Only the strongest survive in the SEC. Any team that's missing an element will be exposed early and often. Texas A&M learned that the hard way Saturday in Arlington. The Aggies' offense is a problem and there isn't a right answer in fixing it. A quarterback battle now looks more like a concern in the future. Insufficient offensive line play has cost A&M (3-1, 0-1) drives that should have ended in points.

A&M should ditch neutral-site Southwest Classic

It is time to stop letting financial gain come before the prosperity of the Texas A&M football program. A combined 57,992 A&M and Arkansas fans piled into AT&T Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 25, for this year’s Southwest Classic. College Station wide receiver Traylen Suel leads offense with ample preparation

For College Station’s Traylen Suel, preparation is key. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound wide receiver is getting a head start on his future coaching career by treating each week and film study like a job. Depending on the opponent, Suel can take up to four days watching old game film or studying opponents’ formations and coverages when he’s not practicing or doing homework. His eagerness to watch film is even a running joke within the receiving corps, wide receivers coach Trent Vittrup said.
