Chamber partners represented in Missouri bicentennial celebration

The Stover Area Chamber of Commerce conducted their regular monthly business meeting, Thursday, July 15 at Changes N Time. Skelly’s Ice Cream Shoppe and Changes N Time Restaurant will co-host an ice cream social, Tuesday, Aug. 10. This event will be part of the official statewide ice cream social event to commemorate Missouri’s Bicentennial, as it celebrates 200 years of statehood.

The department is holding a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. on July 24 in Ralston Park in Warsaw. The department will be serving catfish, baked beans and a choice of cole slaw or potato salad. The organization goes through the entire process of the forensic interview, so that the kids only have to tell their story once. Then there also the family advocates who work with the kids and the non offending family moving forward, as well as therapists who help each child.
