Sedalia woman injured in Camden County collision on Highway 5

A Sedalia woman was injured Monday afternoon in a collision on Highway 5 in Camden County, just south of Twin Rivers Road. The incident occured when a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu being driven by 19-year-old Jenna Snapp of Sedalia hit the rear of a stopped 2012 Chevrolet Impala being driven by 55-year-old Shaunna Wood of Linn Creek. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Snapp was looking down at her radio, looked back up and realized the Impala was stopped as it was waiting to make a left turn in the northbound lane. Snapp could not stop the vehicle in time before the collision.

Two vehicles totaled in Morgan County crash

Two vehicles were totaled in an early-morning crash on Route P, east of White Oak Road. Milagros M. Bray, 34 of Lebanon, was driving her 2010 Ford Fusion westbound on Route P as Daniel E. Plemmons, 37 of Lake Ozark, was driving his 2009 Ford Edge eastbound. Bray failed to drive on the correct side of the roadway, striking Plemmons on the side of his vehicle.

Versailles woman injured in Morgan County collision on Route Y

A Versailles woman was injured Wednesday afternoon in a collision on Route Y in Morgan County, nearly half a mile north of Brendel Boulevard. Tracy Cecil, 51, was turning north out of a private drive in her 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt when she was struck by an oncoming southbound 2006 Mercury Milan being driven by 30-year-old Kale Koehn of Rocky Mount, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. Cecil, who was not reported to be wearing a safety device, was minorly injured and taken to Lake Regional Hospital by personal conveyance. Koehn was not reported to have any injuries.

DROWNING: Man Found In Creek Near Warsaw

BENTON COUNTY, Mo. — A 58-year-old man was found dead in Town Branch Creek on Monday, May 10. One Woman Killed in Morgan County Crash

One woman was killed and another injured in a four-vehicle crash that occurred Monday morning in Morgan County. The Missouri State Highway reports that an eastbound 2013 Honda Pilot, driven by 42-year-old Jay A. Super of Gravois Mills, was stopped on Highway 50, waiting to make a left turn onto Missouri 5 around 10 a.m., when an eastbound 2019 Subaru Accent, driven by 70-year-old Karen C. Overmiller of Four Seasons, abruptly approached the Honda from the rear, crossed the center line, and sideswiped the Honda. The Subarau then struck a westbound 2016 Kenworth Tractor Trailer, driven by 77-year-old James C. Perkins of Union. The Subaru then continued on and struck a westbound 2006 Buick Rainier, driven by 80-year-old Loretta J. Needham of Eldon.
