UTICA — A Utica man has been indicted for murder for a May shooting inside a barbershop. Jaleak Scarborough, 21, of Utica, was indicted Wednesday on one count of second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree possession of a weapon, according to court officials. Police: Evicted Camden Man Breaks In To Old Home and Guts Piping

A Camden man who may have been looking to get a little revenge after being evicted has now taken up residence at the Oneida County Jail. New York State Police arrested Joshua Chamberlain, 26, and say he confessed to ripping out more than 200-pounds of copper and aluminum from his former home on Preston Hill Road in the town of Vienna. Chamberlain had been evicted from the property back in March, but returned in April, apparently breaking in to the home to gut it of copper pipping and aluminum radiators, police say.

Utica police looking for help identifying shooting suspect

UTICA, N.Y. – Utica police are asking or help from the public identifying a suspect who may have been involved in a shooting earlier this month. Police say the shooting happened on Arthur Street near Neilson Street on June 4. The victim in the shooting was taken to a Syracuse hospital for emergency surgery after the incident.
