With a Husker win on Saturday and a Purdue loss to Maryland, Nebraska could have found itself in the Big Ten Tournament in Omaha. Instead, Purdue and Maryland sat on the sidelines and watched as clouds, but no rain, passed over West Lafayette for several hours before deciding that Maryland needed to catch a bus to fly back home.

KV unified track heading to Regionals!

For the first time in school history the KV Unified track team will be competing in the IHSAA unified track regional. With their 2nd place finish at sectionals the team advances to the regional. The team gave McCutcheon a run for their money, McCutcheon had 110 points and KV was right behind them with 104. The Kougars beat third place Lafayette Jefferson by 1 point. Winning their heats in the 100 were Madi Myers, and Jessica Donovan. In the 400 Gabe Bristol, and Larry Hagen won their sections. In the long jump Aiden Howe was first, and in shotput the Kougars got 1st and 2nd place from Kayla Davis, and Zach Ritchie. The rest of the results are attached. CONGRATULATIONS KOUGARS! FORT WAYNE, Ind. (TCD) -- A jury found a 22-year-old man guilty this week of killing his girlfriend and her three young children in 2021. According to WANE-TV, Cohen Hancz-Barron was convicted of four counts of murder for the deaths of Sarah Zent, 26, Carter Zent, 5, Ashton Zent, 3, and Aubree Zent, 2. On Thursday, May 19, the jury sided with the prosecutors and agreed to the enhancement of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

FBI search warrant obtained by podcast reveals possible details about killer of two girls in Delphi, Indiana

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chilling new details emerged Wednesday in the 2017 murders of two teen girls in Delphi, Indiana. An FBI search warrant obtained by the "Murder Sheet" podcast said the bodies of Abby Williams, 13, and Liberty German, 14, lost a lot of blood. The warrant also noted that the killer may have staged a murder scene and took souvenirs, but the warrant did not specify what they were. The warrant also disclosed a landowner named Ron Logan couldn't be ruled out as the man recorded on Liberty's saying "down the hill." The girls' bodies were found on Logan's property a day after they disappeared. Logan died in 2020.
