Look: Celtics Reportedly Trade For Former NBA Rookie Of The Year

The reigning Eastern Conference champions just got better. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics have acquired Malcolm Brogdon from the Indiana Pacers. The main pieces heading back to Indiana are Daniel Theis, Aaron Nesmith and a 2023 first-round pick. Wojnarowski also reported that Boston added Nik Stauskas, Malik Fitts and Juwan Morgan to its trade package.

At Least 11 Hurt in Separate Shootings in Boston

At least 10 people were hurt in a series of violent incidents across Boston overnight, including two that left the victims with serious injuries. Boston police confirmed officers responded to six different scenes between Sunday evening and Monday morning. The most serious of the incidents happened in a shooting on Elizabeth Street around 2:19 a.m., when a man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains in critical condition, police said.

As reported by The Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach, the Celtics are bringing back Sam Hauser on a three-year deal worth $6 million. The first two of that three-year deal are fully guaranteed for a player who played his way onto the roster as a rookie during the 2021-22 NBA season.

USS Constitution to mark Independence Day with 21-gun salute

BOSTON -  There's more to Boston's Fourth of July celebrations than just fireworks on Monday.There will be a morning flag-raising at City Hall Plaza and procession to the Old State House for the reading of the Declaration of Independence. Mayor Michelle Wu will be part of the speaking ceremony, which in the past has included historical figures like John F. Adam Vinatieri's son decommits from UMass football

Vinatieri -- the son of Patriots legend and future Pro Football Hall of Famer Adam Vinatieri -- excitedly announced his commitment to play football at the University of Massachusetts.
