The South Dakota Department of Health reported the state's first COVID-19 fatality in a week Thursday, along with 11 new positive coronavirus tests. The death was a female between 70 and 79. The victim was the 2,027th person in the state to die with COVID-19. She did not live in the Aberdeen/Watertown region.

Codington County Commissioners receive bids to repair highways by Wind Tower Construction crews

The Codington County Commissioners opened bids this week on road projects to repair highways in Eastern Codington County damaged by wind tower construction crews. The apparent low bidder to restore the haul roads in eastern Codington County is Dunnick Incorporated. The local company bid $8,049,425 to come in as the lowest bidder.
