Former lieutenant governor celebrates Grant County dairy industry at breakfast event

CUBA CITY, Wis. – Rebecca Kleefisch said it was fantastic that she could help celebrate Grant County’s dairy industry. Kleefisch, a Republican who served from 2011 to 2019 as the 44th lieutenant governor of Wisconsin, visited the 2021 Grant County Dairy Breakfast, held today at Vosberg Colonial Acres, a dairy farm operated by Mark and Renee Vosberg in rural Cuba City.

Car crash starts on fire, one car engulfed

HIGHLAND, Wis. — Two vehicles started on fire following a crash on County Road I on June 12. According to a report, one of the involved cars was smoking and showing flames and the other was fully engulfed when Highland Fire, Highland EMS, and Iowa County Deputies arrived at 4:16 p.m.

Man arrested for attempted homicide after shots fired

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — One man was arrested for attempted homicide on West Main St. early Sunday morning. At 3:19 a.m., police were patrolling when they heard two gunshots. Harry P. Clincy was taken into custody and arrested for first-degree attempted homicide and a parole violation.
