Arizona Wildcats offer scholarships to guards Kylan Boswell (2023) and Collin Chandler (2022)

Arizona was among several schools offering Corona (Calif.) Centennial class of 2023 guard Kylan Boswell a scholarship after the Section 7 event in Glendale over the weekend. Farmington, Utah, guard Collin Chandler also tweeted that he received an offer from Arizona, though his team did not play in Section 7. Chandler took a visit to Stanford earlier this month and he's previously taken unofficials to BYU and Utah. He drew two predictions saying he would play for Utah before the Utes' coaching change.

KP Werner Commits to Eastern Kentucky

Seward’s center fielder has committed to play baseball at NCAA Division 1 Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. Werner played three years for the Saints. He was named a first team all Jayhawk West player as a sophomore. Werner was named a second team all Region 6 player for the 26-25 Saints who went 20-12 and were second in the Jayhawk West. Werner hit .405 with eight homers and 51 RBI’s. Werner had 16 doubles and two triples and swiped 10 bases. Werner hit .342 with five homers and 18 RBI’s with four doubles and a triple in a Covid shortened 2020 season. Werner hit .295 with a homer and 13 RBI’s to go along with seven doubles and two triples in his freshman year of 2019. He stole 11 bases that season. Werner is from Greeley, Colorado’s Northridge High School.

Police: Missing woman found dead in a creek in Laurel County

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman who was missing has been found dead in a creek in Laurel County. A homeowner checking her mail on Wednesday found the woman dead in the creek off Laurel River Church Road, which is five miles from London, Kentucky, the Laurel County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.

UPDATE: Missing 48-year-old woman found dead in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 48-year-old woman reported missing earlier this week has been found dead in Laurel County and detectives are investigating the cause of death. According to Laurel County Sheriff John Root, Det. Taylor McDaniel is investigating the discovery of the body of Deanne Barrett on Laurel River Church Road approximately five miles southeast of London at about 12:35 p.m. Wednesday.

Circle K at 300 Richmond Rd Nw was the cheapest station in the area, according to a survey by GasBuddy, with regular listed at $2.95 per gallon Wednesday. By comparison, the most expensive gallon was at BP at 100 Mckinney Dr, where a gallon of regular was selling for $2.99.
