Sheetz lowers some gas prices below $4 through Fourth of July holiday

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Sheetz has lowered its price for unleaded 88 gasoline to $3.99 a gallon through the Fourth of July holiday.  Sheetz announced in a release Monday that it is lowering its prices to "reduce pain at the pump for consumers" effective immediately. Sheetz added that is selling E85 gasoline for $3.49 a gallon.  "Unleaded 88 is approved by the EPA for use in vehicles for model years 2001 or newer as well as light-duty trucks, SUVs and Flex Fuel Vehicles," Sheetz said in a release. 23-year-old man shot and killed in McKees Rocks

MCKEES ROCKS (KDKA) -- A 23-year-old man has died following an overnight shooting in McKees Rocks.According to Allegheny County Police, dispatchers were notified of a shooting along Frank Street just before 12:30 on Tuesday morning. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 23-year-old man who had been shot multiple times.He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.Police say they are searching for two men that ran away from the scene.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Four Charged In Late-Night Strong Armed Robbery Over Weekend

OCEAN CITY — Three Pennsylvania men and a juvenile were arrested last weekend for an alleged strong-armed robbery in the downtown area. Around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) officers responded to the area of 20th Street and Philadelphia Avenue for a reported strong-armed robbery. Officers met with a 25-year-old victim from Baltimore, who informed police he had been assaulted by three males who had stolen some of his personal property, according to police reports.

Report: Le'Veon Bell and Adrian Peterson sign deals to box each other

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Le'Veon Bell and Adrian Peterson are reportedly headed to the boxing ring.ESPN reports that the former Steelers running back and Peterson have signed contracts for a heavyweight boxing exhibition on July 30 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It will be the first time both former All-Pro running backs step into the ring, but the fight won't be their pro boxing debuts since it's an exhibition. Bell and Peterson, who are currently free agents, will fight on the undercard of Social Gloves 2, an event promoted by Austin McBroom, a Youtube star. Bell was on the Steelers from 2013-17. He sat out the 2018 season before signing a contract with the Jets. He was released by the team in 2020. Bell played eight games last season with the Ravens and Buccaneers. Peterson played in four games with the Titans and Seahawks last season.
