Bavarian Festival Parade in Frankenmuth brings community together

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - The Bavarian Festival Parade happened Sunday afternoon in the streets of Frankenmuth. The festival made its return after being canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic. Court: Lapeer County judge who lost race gets 6-year ban for misconduct

LAPEER, Mich. (AP) - A judge who lost re-election in November while a misconduct case against him was pending will be barred from serving again for six years. The Michigan Supreme Court announced the result Friday against former Lapeer County Judge Byron Konschuh. The Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission announced results of an investigation into him last August.

On June 10, the Argyle Fire Department responded to reports of a house fire on the 5000 block of N. Decker Rd. in Evergreen Township. When Argyle Fire arrived, firefighters were advised the home was vacant, but when the fire was extinguished members of the department located a body inside the home.
